Rojina Mostafa Shilpi, commonly named as Shilpi – was born in mid April, 1971 at Taribazar in Netrakona town. She is the youngest among two sons and two daughters of late Mostafizur Rahman Khan and Rohena Khanam. Her father was died during the liberation period in 1971 and her elder brother, Mizanur Rahman Masum died in 19 December, 2003.
Her forefathers originated from Mohanganj Upazila under Netrakona district and maternal side from Sunamganj district. Shilpi passed elementary from Netrakona High School, as well as Matriculation (School Secondary Certificate) in 1988 from the same School and Intermediate (Higher Secondary Certificate) in 1992 from Netrakona Mohila College. She was a student of arts discipline. She obtained her Graduation in Arts (B.A) under the National University in 1994. Shilpi married Kazi Ataur Rahman Saki on April 8, 1993. Saki and Shilpi are blessed with two daughters. Elder one, Shafinaz Eisha is a student of University of Toronto and the youngest one, Anta in Grade 4. |
